Hmmm.... This just began a nice little debate between Zade and I. Perhaps before asking whether or not it is animation, maybe we need to ask what animation is?
I think it is animation. A bit more akin to puppeteering but it is an inanimate object brought to "life" by an animator.
Animate + Inanimate = awesome vomiting teddy bears.
I would have thought it was puppetry like the one I did:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD2KILha8uEI was thinking along the lines of "Meet The Feebles"....
